Because I'm Poisonous
Yeah - I decided to try another take with these photos. It's quite different from the first, and I'm very happy with this drippy messy version. It's good to get your hands a little dirty once in a while. :)
These plastic gears are made with recycled #6 plastic, which I cut with a die cutter, and then shrunk with a heat gun. Free shrink plastic! I coloured them with "Oil Slick" Glimmer Glaze. (My husband thinks they should have named the colour "BP", ha!)
I love these small texture stamps from Tattered Angels. The corrugated cardboard is from Creative Imaginations, and it's just awesome with Glimmermist. I used 3 or 4 shades in gradation on the larger piece (ending with "Tattered Leather", which is my favorite).
The letters are an older Heidi Swapp project intended for colouring with inks, so the glimmer mist was an ideal pairing. The crepe paper is Tattered Angels.
I used texture medium with a glimmer screen to create the relief on the page. Then I sprayed it with Glimmer mist. The dark splotches are more of the "Oil Slick" glimmer glam.
