Reindeer 'Toutou'

For my DT kit, for Mon Scrapbook, I was so happy to get to work with the new collections from Mémento this month. I don't actually use a lot of 'baby' themed papers, but these ones are different. They are baby, but still a little distressed - just my style!

I couldn't resist cutting out a bunch of the little squares & rectangles from one of the sheets - they make fun embellishments. I pop-dotted some for a little extra dimension.

Matérial / Supplies:
papiers / papers - Mémento "Charmante" (Petite 2, Petite 3, Petite 4, Petite 5, Petite 6, Petite Cartes)
lettrage / alphas - American Crafts
fleurs / flowers - Prima Marketing
perles / pearls - Prima Marketing
encre / ink - Distress
stylo / marker - Staedtler

Mr & Mrs (soon)

This month, for my DT work with Mon Scrapbook, I was lucky enough to get to work with the "Distressed Couture" collection from Glitz Designs. I love the rich red, and the distressed patterns.

I love this little stamp from Glitz. I find it to be very versatile, and I can see me using it a lot. The mini-letters from Glitz Designs stick really, really well. I was pleasantly surprised, as I find that some mini-letters don't have strong adhesive.

I used one of the new keys from 7 gypsies as a flower centre, tying it on with twine.

Matérials /Supplies:
Papiers/Papers - Glitz Designs "Distressed Couture" (Floral, Polka, Blocks, Vines)
Autocollants/Stickers - Glitz Designs "Distressed Couture"

Ever heard of Snobby Walrus Paper Crafts? No, not yet? Well, you're going to be reading about it here on a regular basis for the next 6 months, since I have been chosen as part of their first design team!

I'm pretty excited, because as you might have guessed from the name - these people have a great sense of humor, and are just a little nutty - which suits me to a 'T'. Of course - the kits are gonna be awesome, too. Check out this sneak of the May kit:

Did you see all the goodies there? I can't wait to get my hands on it. And you know there will be yummy add-on kits too!

Of course, there's a forum with a bunch of fun ladies, who know when to not take themselves too seriously. Love that. Hope you come join us!
