Brave - Ruby Rock-it
Hi Everyone. I wanted to share with you all, one of my application projects for the Ruby Rock-it design team. I had a lot of fun with this paper collection - the papers are just so 'usable' for pictures of my son (he wears red a lot, and I find that a lot papers look funny with my pictures). These papers worked great with my photos.
I backed the title with one of the darker patterned papers, to make it a little more readable on my busy page. These letters are nice thick chipboard.
I am in love with these felt shapes. They are thick enough to not be fragile, but thin enough for layering. I like that they don't look to 'heavy' to use with other items on my page, which I find is sometimes the case with super thick felt.
The grey gears and arrows are from the die-cut borders. These are printed on a thick cardstock, making them easy to work with, but not too thick to layer. I apparently am a bit thick in the head lately though, because I didn't realize that these were self-adhesive, ha ha ha! I didn't peel the backing off - I just added my own glue. These are very thick for a sticker, so no worry of tearing them.
I used Spellbinders dies to make all the orange gears on the page. I traced around them to help define the edges.
Supplies (Ruby Rock-it):
PP, die cut borders, felt shapes, chipboard letters - "Bella! Paper Boy" collection
