Eggs - Tattered Angels & Prima Mist-ables

This project features the Prima Marketing “Lagoon” Paint system (plus a couple other of my favorites). I started with the Bahama Blue glimmer mist, and some Prima masks to create the background. I also used a little Tattered Leather glimmer mist (the page really wanted some brown – who am I to argue?) I also did some stamping on the background, using a Prima texture stamp, and Pewter glimmer glaze.

I used a number of Prima canvas Mist-ables on this page – mostly the new Resist Mist-ables. (A couple of the larger leaves are from the previous release). They were misted with Bahama Blue & Blitzen glimmer mists, and Apricot Nectar chalkboard mist. (Yes – you can use the chalkboard mists on these canvas shapes too – don’t leave them out!).

The printed cardstock is an older Prima ‘paintable’ sheet, which was begging for some Tattered Angels. I painted the circles with Golden Goddess glimmer glam, then misted with Apricot Nectar chalkboard mist. (The Glam acted as a resist).

The Prima lace and flowers were misted with Blitzen (one of the new Winter Limited Edition colours). It was the perfect shade to match the purples in my photo, and helped bring out the Easter theme.

The Prima chipboard letters were painted with a coat of Golden Goddess glimmer glam (because you can never have too much glam) – it helped tie them in, colour-wise.

The stick pins were dipped in Pewter Glimmer Glaze - an awesome way to change the colour of your pins! They were a bright clear tone when I started, now they look more silver-y and vintage.

The colors draw me in! The soft colors sprayed on the paper and the brighter embellishments balance beautifully to match that little cutie!
