Love My Tapes Christmas Blog Hop

Hi Everyone - so glad you found your way here today. If you've been following the Love My Tapes Christmas Blog Hop and this is your first time here - welcome!

These are the stops in the hop.

Ashley
Giovana <--- you found your way from here
JJ <--- you are here
Lisa <--- next stop on the blog hop
Rita

If you encounter a wonky link and get lost, you can pick up on the hop again here: Love My Tapes blog.

Don't forget to leave comments on your way through the hop - there's a prize in it for you! ;)

So, on to telling you about my layout. I started with a simple background and added some glimmer mist using Crafter's Workshop stencils. I also used some glimmer mist to customize my letters.

There are a lot of very girly products from Love My Tapes, but don't let that fool you - there are also a lot of products that are awesome for little boy pages, and I found some that totally worked for a Christmas page. The brown suede fabric sheet has a great texture, and with the help of a die cutter, the green and red polka dot fabric sheets make fun holly shapes.

This green plaid fabric sheet is perfect for Christmas projects, and the brown check fabric tape is great for boy pages. This lace is subtle enough to add to masculine pages. (I'm in love with these wooden buttons too!)

I added doodled 'stitches' to the holly for a little more definition.

Thanks for stopping by on the Love My Tapes Christmas Blog Hop - don't forget to visit Lisa at the next stop on the tour!

Thanks for demonstrating the possibilities of these tapes. I didn't know they could be die cut and I didn't know that you could write on them. (I've never had any of these tapes yet, but want some BAD!) Great project!

Terrific layout! I am not brave enough to add lace to a masculine project, but this looks so great and not at all girly! How do you do that?
