Liam & Grammy - Green Tara
Hey Everyone, I have a layout to share with you featuring Tattered Angels and Green Tara - a great pairing! (I realize the journaling is missing. I forgot to add it before I photographed - it has since been added. Pretend you can see it below the title, OK? ;) )
To create the background I used texture medium with the Winter Crystals screens to get the dimensional snowflakes. (After I misted the snowflakes, I spritzed with water so that the texture medium would stand out from the background)
I misted the background with Glacier (all over), Icicle Blue, Snowy Pine and Night B4 Christmas glimmer mists, using screens from the Vintage Seasons – Winter Trees set.
After spraying some of the screens in one location, I would flip them over to another spot on the layout, allowing the screen to act as a stamp. I also brushed a little Pewter glimmer glaze around the edges of the layout, and randomly stamped a 'Tattered Textures' stamp on the background (hard to see in the photo).
The silver rose leaves were misted with Bubble Light Green glimmer mist, and the red and purple gardenias received a generous helping of Pixie Dust glimmer glam.
These sprays with the dark iridescent beads were really cool - so easy to get them to sit where you want because they are wired.
I cut apart a second spray to place around the flower clusters. No problem doing this, as the beads are individually wired, so they won't come off if you cut part of the stem.
