Make A Wish

This month I had the pleasure of working with the Scrapbook Sussies March Kit as a Guest Designer. One of the paper collections in the kit was from Cosmo Cricket. The colours turned out to be perfect for photos of my son's birthday, which worked out great, since I still hadn't scrapped them, and we're closing in on the next birthday, ha ha ha!

I wanted something to create a bit of a party look, so I curled strips of paper and added them, along with some of the gems from the kit. I also spritzed glimmer mist on the cardstock. The effect is subtle (you can see it better in person, it didn't photograph so well), but it makes the cardstock a little more exciting. :)

To create this border, I punched circles from cardstock and folded them.

Supplies (from the Scrapbook Sussies March Kit) :
PP - Cosmo Cricket
CS - Bazzill
letter stickers, flair - American Crafts
gems - Bo Bunny
brads - Basic Grey

other supplies:
ink - StazOn
glimmer mist - Tattered Angels
marker - Staedtler Triplus Fineliner

oh I love those ribbon curls!!!

Now, I have to say THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Yes, that was the problem with my blog... I'm so glad you were able to tell me that. I thought I broke my poor blog :( I was getting so fed up with it and I kept trying everyday thinking it would magically get better on it's own! Now, there's something to be said about a geek ;)
