First Egg Hunt

I'm happy to show you the first of my projects for Snobby Walrus Paper Crafts, using the May Kit. What a great mix of papers in this kit! I wouldn't normally gravitate towards Sassafrass Lass, but it works so well mixed with these other lines.

In this month's kit there were some vintage stamps. Such a fun little tidbit to include in embellishment clusters!

Pleating strips of paper is a technique that I seem to come back to time and again, and I think it's because I love the texture it adds to a page. And did you see those cute mini-letters from Cosmo Cricket? I love them - I think I'm twice as pleased with them simply because they are not all the same size, and the slight variations work so well with how I use letters.

I will be posting the rest of my projects over the next week - I hope you will come back to see them!

Supplies (from Snobby Walrus Paper Crafts May Kit):
PP - 7 gypsies, Sassafrass Lass, Mark's Paper Company
glimmer mist - Tattered Angels ("Spring Rain")
letters - American Crafts, Cosmo Cricket
flowers (large) - Prima Marketing
other - buttons, vintage stamps

Other supplies:
flowers (small), pearls - Prima Marketing
glimmer mist - Tattered Angels ("Tattered Leather")
ink - Ranger

Love the pleated paper and the circle on this one, as well as all the little touches - the fawn is a perfect counterpoint to the little egg hunter!
