This week's Card challenge over at Let's Capture Our Memories is to create a card for a kid. It was a good challenge for me, as I find I've gotten into a pattern of making cards only for adults, and I have a number of nieces & nephews with upcoming birthdays!
I used one of the new Bo Bunny journaling notes for the bottom of the card, and added Glossy Accents and Distress Stickles (in "Rock Candy") to a number of elements on the card for a little more shine & sparkle. The nice opaque black lines were created with a Uniball Signo gel pen.

A little bling to dot the 'i' dresses up the thickers in the title.

Don't forget to surf on over to LCOM to see what the rest of the team has created, and perhaps join in with your own take on the challenge.
Supplies:
CS, PP, journaling tag, chipboard, ribbon, sticker, jewel - Bo Bunny
(have I mentioned how much I love Bo Bunny?)
fabric covered chipboard letters - American Crafts
ink, distress stickles, glossy accents - Ranger
black pen - Uniball Signo

Nice! Does this mean that one of your nieces will receive this, or do you collect them afterward?
This is a great kids card! I love the use of Glossy Accents and Stickles-it really does look like rock candy!
That's great! It looks so much better than when I try to make things like that.
Hi JJ - it was so nice to see a comment from you! Thanks for stopping my blog - love your kids' card!
