Finally got my big girl camera. I’m so happy! I’ve been disappointed with the resolution of my ‘point and shoot’ for a while, and I really wanted to get back to using an SLR. Digital, of course, is the way to go these days, so I’m happy to have found the dSLR that suits me.
I’m looking forward to learning how to use it, and learning more about photography in general.
Today is also my baby sister’s birthday. Happy Birthday Rachel!

DO you post any of your photos online, other than here? I'd be interested in seeing some of them.
And I'm still using my point and shoot but am getting some good pictures out of it.
