One year ago today, I got the phone call that my Dad had died suddenly, while on a family vacation in Florida.
I sent my Mom flowers today, because honestly - I didn't know what else to do.
I still miss my Daddy.

Dear JJ,
31 years ago, on March 9th, I lost my grand-father "Grand-Guy". To this day his sudden departure still feels unfair and I miss him.
In some way it helps thinking he is looking over me. I don't know what your beliefs are but I believe in gardien angels and I would think your father is still looking over you and Liam, but that nothing can take this "void" away completely.
