Gum surgery

Today my poor husband had gum surgery. The only good thing about that, is that it wasn’t me. Ouch!!

Sky Is Over

For a while now I have been hearing a song on the radio that I really like. Trouble is, I keep missing it when the DJ announces the artist.

So, today I went to the station’s website and found a place where they list the entire day’s playlist. If you know when the song played, you can find the title, the artist, the song lyrics and a You Tube link. How cool is that?!

So, here’s the song I am now hooked on (already bought the album - thank you evilBay).

Easter Monday

Today is Easter Monday. One Good Thing about that, is that a lot of people were off work today, so traffic was very light for me getting to work. Ah, if only it were always so easy.

Another Good Thing? I still have some of my Easter chocolate left - André finished all his yesterday. *grin*

Easter

Today is Easter. That in itself is a Good Thing.

The bonus was that my in-laws got us some very yummy Easter chocolates from La Cabosse D'Or. Mmmmm!

If you like belgian style chocolates, you will LOVE these!! I have a particular fondness for their pralines. *drool*

Good Friday

A couple of good things today. Today is Good Friday, so I had the day off work.

Also, on my way in to "Crop Night", I noticed that the city workers were installing traffic lights at a very busy intersection which I drive through frequently. This intersection in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue (Anciens Combatants @ Highway 20) has been in desperate need of traffic lights for years, so I'm very happy to see that we're finally getting them!

Girls Night Out

This evening I met up with some friends for dinner. It was a great girls night out. Good food, lots of laughs, and a trip to the LSS.

Then, of course, Starbucks. Which means it ended on a perfect note, LOL!

Scrapbook Centrale Grand Re-Opening

Scrapbook Centrale had their grand re-opening today. They had outgrown their previous location and needed to move to a bigger place.

The new location is great - better lighting (inside and out), easier parking, lots of room, nicer crop space. It's all good. I'm happy for the staff there - it looks to be a much nicer working environment.

Taxes Done.

One Good Thing that happened today is that I finished my income tax return (and my husband's).

Hopefully, I did them right, 'cause I calculated we're to get refunds this year. YAY!

One year ago today, I got the phone call that my Dad had died suddenly, while on a family vacation in Florida.

I sent my Mom flowers today, because honestly - I didn't know what else to do.

I still miss my Daddy.

Everyone Loves a Sale

One Good Thing that happened today was a big moving sale at the LSS.
