Butterfly Birthday card - Green Tara

I wanted to share another card featuring the Green Tara diamante trim.  I quite like the 'bling' effect on cards.

I've also used another one of the Rainforest Butterflies - this time in pink.

Fall Birthday Card - Green Tara & Authentique

I wanted to share another Green Tara card with you today.  I've said it before, but I love pairing Green Tara with Authentique papers (these are from one of their earlier collections). For this card I wanted to highlight one of the new 3cm Rainforest Butterflies.  This size is perfect for cards, and in the Bronze colour, it pairs wonderfully with the new Light Brown Roses.

I was so happy to receive some of these new Suede trims - not only are they great for wrapping around part of a card, but I'm looking forward to using them on a lot of 'Boy' scrapbook pages.

It's like someone read my mind when Green Tara started carrying these Wire Cords.  I can shape them how I like, and they will stay that way.   For this card, I wrapped the cord around a bamboo skewer, then tucked it in around the flowers to look like part of the 'greenery'.

Rocky Raccoon - Ruby Rock-it

This page features papers from the Ruby Rock-it "Bella! Fusion" collection in the Neutrals colourway.  These papers were perfect for the woodsy feel I wanted with this picture.

My die-cutter got a serious workout for this page - I wanted a lot of leaves and branches.  I even cut a few from the kraft tags, just for contrast:

And a little acorn too.  ;)   It's surprising what you can do with just paper.

This raccoon just showed up on our deck one day last fall.  I knew there were a family of them in the area (we suspect they live under our shed, actually).  But we hadn't seen one in the daylight - this was a bit of a surprise.

"I *Heart* U" card with Green Tara

I've been playing with some of the new trims from Green Tara and wanted to share this card with you.   The "I Heart U" is a piece of the new diamante trim (available in many styles).  This design combines a sentiment with embellishment, which makes the card come together even faster.

I added a few white roses, and the new Glitter Hearts Organza ribbon to finish it up.
