Marshmallow Girl

This is my second layout for Mon Scrapbook using the Pink Paislee "Cupid" collection. That dotted paper is such a happy pattern, I couldn't resist using it as my background.

I pleated a strip of paper to give an added texture to my border. It creates an interesting contrast when paired with the Prima lace.

The clear border stickers are very easy to use. I like that they give the look of rub-ons, but they go on like regular stickers, making them easier to apply. (And I have to say - I love that some of them were in French!)

I added pop-dots to the die-cut journaling block, for a little added dimension. In this shot you can also see the texture of the canvas patches. I frayed the edges to give it even more texture.

11 Months

This is my first February layout for Mon Scrapbook, using the "Cupid" collection from Pink Paislee. I love the colours in these papers. Although they are intended as a Valentines collection, I think they work well for other themes, and are just perfect for pictures of little girls!

I added some stitching with embroidery floss. I used one of the templates from "The Crafter's Workshop" to create the flourishes. So much easier than drawing by hand.

The roses on this page are made from some of my scraps from the layout. A flower punch, a little ink, and some folding & rolling are all it takes. Voilà - flowers perfectly matched to your project!
