Hope on over and take a look!

First kit with Scrapbook Star
Yesterday I picked up my first DT kit from Scrapbook Star. Can I just say, I'm pretty stoked? Lots of potential with this kit! It's the July kit, and nothing has been announced yet, or even sneak-peeked, so I can't tell you details... but I can say, it includes some of my all-time-favorite embellishments!
Did you know that as of the June 09 kit, all the main kits at Scrapbook Star now include a custom acrylic stamp? The one in the July kit is super cute, and I can't wait to start using it - and that's saying a lot for someone like me, who's not that great of a stamper!

Crazy Daisy Kits
Have you heard yet about the new scrapbook kit club Crazy Daisy Kits? No? Not yet? Well, you're soon going to be hearing a lot about them, right here on this blog.
Why is that, you ask?
'Cause I've just been asked to join their inaugural Design Team! Check out the announcement here.
And I'm in some pretty good company, too! The other team members are: Kim Whitten (co-ordinator), Grace Tolman, Trace Geworsky, and Jackie Laing. Visit their blogs and leave a little love, will ya? :)

4 Today!
I can't believe this little man is 4 years old today.
Can't.
Believe.
But there it is. And I'm so glad he's here.

Mother's Day gift
Rhys' Mother's Day gift to me? Now she's saying "Ma ma ma ma ma"
I know it probably doesn't mean much to her yet, but it means a lot to me.

Mommy - it's not a dinosaur
This morning I was telling Liam that it was so nice he let baby sister Rhys play with his dinosaur.
His response?
"Mommy, it's not a dinosaur. It's a brachiosaurus!"
Well, excuse me!

(Inter)National Scrapbook Day
I went to a big crop with my friends yesterday for National Scrapbook Day. There were 100 croppers. Talk about a buzz of activity. You could hear laughter all through the room - that's got to be inspiring!
I didn't get a ton of pages done - I forgot that I'm not that productive in longer crops. My creativity wanes after a few a hours. But I sure enjoyed the company - it was a fun day.
I just had to scrap about my new shoes, I like them so much. Here's the first LO I did at the crop:
Supplies:
PP - Crate
fimo buttons & Owl - My Little Bit of Whimsy
letter stickers - Pink Paisley, Jillibean Soup
rub-ons - Basic Grey
journal sticker - Pink Paisley
ink - Ranger
markers - Staedtler Triplus Fineliner, American Crafts Slick Writer

Teeth (finally)
While I was out all day at the big NSD crop, my Little Tyrant was cutting her first tooth. (Poor Papa, dealing with that).
Rhys has been working on her first tooth for literally months now. She's been having painful teething symptoms since Christmas. I'm so happy for her (and US!) that it's finally cut through. Here's hoping that the next one won't be so tough.
