Easy Christmas Ornaments - Love My Tapes
Want a quick & easy Christmas ornament project? Something that your kids can do, too? Grab a few plain Christmas balls and some Love My Tapes fabric and lace tapes in festive colours, and have at it! What's fantastic about these (and why they work so well on the clear balls) is that the adhesive is clear, so they still look good even from the reverse. And truly - this is super easy, because it's like applying masking tape!
For this first ornament, I used the 17mm cream lace for the stripes, and the 15mm cream lace around the top to camouflage the base. I cut out some holly from the polka dot fabric sheets (also self-adhesive).
The second ornament showcases the fabric sheets again, but this time cut with a large Tim Holtz die. The base is wrapped with the 13mm white lace.
For these two, I used the fabric tapes, and wrapped the bases with the green 13mm lace tape.
All of the ornaments have coordinating 'strings' made from the fabric tapes folded over on themselves. This ornament features the Red Stripe fabric tape in 'Royal'.
And this one shows the Mini-checks fabric tape in 'Peppermint'.
I don't think these ornaments took more than 1/2 hour total - I hope you'll give it a try!
