Fall Beauty
I couldn't resist playing this this collection from Authentique. The woodgrain with bits of pink had me at first sight. Then when I realized the blue paper matched my daughter's dress, well... it was meant to be, right?
Why use just one flower, when you can use a bunch? ;) I love the contrast that the cork adds to the mix. It just 'works' on autumn pages.
Sometimes I layer so much, it's hard to find a good colour for titles to pop. An easy fix is to put your letters on a neutral background, and cut around them - then just add the whole word / title to your layout as one piece.
I love to layer and cluster embellishments, and all the fun die-cuts from Authentique are perfect for this.
And a little peek at the journaling, of course...
Supplies:
PP, die cuts, mini-letters - Authentique
flowers, pearls - Prima Marketing
glimmer mist - Tattered Angels
larger letters - American Crafts
cork - Karen Foster
rub-ons - DCWV
marker - Faber-Castell PITT pen
