Hi there. If you have found your way here from the Blog Around the World blog hop - Welcome - so nice to see you here!
You most likely were linked from here: Elinjanne's Weblog "New Beginnings"
At the moment, you are here: One Good ThingThis is the next stop on the blog hop: The Linar Studio
If this is the first you're hearing about this blog hop, here's a little background: I've been participating in a bloggers' class at Shimelle.com called "Blogging for Scrapbookers". A group of us students are hosting a blog hop, that will take you all over the planet. We will all be posting a view from our window, and many will be posting a little about our scrappy space. I do hope you will take a little tour and visit some of the participants' blogs.
I'm blogging from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It's autumn here, and most of the leaves are gone from the trees in my yard. This is the view from my front window:
This is the backyard:
Here's a little picture of my scrap space. I scrap on one of the counters in my kitchen. Good thing it's a big kitchen! It's not a lot of space to scrap, and it's kinda messy (OK, a lot messy). But it's out of reach of the toddler and there's enough room for my essentials. I do a lot of work here!
And because I find it so hard to post without posting something scrappy, here's one of my recent projects. I created this layout with my guest DT kit from Scrap Attack Scrapbooking. (Click on images for a larger view).
The papers from the Moravia collection (by SEI) are full of texture. I love papers like this! I inked and pleated strips of paper to form the circle.
This little medallion was fussy-cut from another sheet in the collection. I couldn't let it go to waste!
Supplies (from the kit):
PP, die cuts - SEI "Moravia" collection
chipboard letters - Chatterbox
jewels - Prima Marketing
small letter stickers - Pink Paisley
Other supplies:
ink - Ranger
marker - Staedtler Triplus Fineliner
Thank you for hopping by, and don't forget to visit the next stop on this blog hop: The Linar Studio!

Wonderful view (and I'll bet it smells great too!) Your scrap"room" is interesting - thank goodness I don't have a toddler to get into my stuff - of course I didn't find scrapbooking until both my kids were grown and out of the house.
